Here is some introduction for Acai berry. Acai berry is a kind of fruits that grows as a wild plant on top of many native palm trees in the Amazon rainforest. As you can see in the photo, the tree is huge and acai fruits grows like grapes hanging above the tree. The Acai palm is a member of the genus Euterpe, which contains 7 species of palms native to tropical Central and South America, from Belize south to Brazil and Peru, growing mainly in floodplains and swamps. For many centuries, benefit of acai berry was unknown outside of the Amazon rainforest where this amazing fruit grows wild. The rainforests of the world are thought to hold the keys to treating and preventing many of our most feared diseases, and as the rainforests disappear, those cures disappear along with them. The acai berry, however, used by the indigenous peoples of the region for thousands of years to enhance health and vitality, has already been discovered.
Acai has been used for many generations by the natives of Brazil. Acai have been proven to boasts 10 times the antioxidant benefits of grapes and twice that of blueberries.
